As a social media ambassador at Susquehanna University, I have the unique opportunity to blend my passion for content creation with my role in promoting the campus community. In this position, I create videos and reels for the university’s Instagram, highlighting various aspects of student life, academics, and events. One of the best parts of my job is that I get to attend events and explore new things on campus, allowing me to capture authentic moments that showcase what makes our university special.

Whether it’s a guest speaker, a club event, or just a beautiful day on campus (as seen above ), I’m always on the lookout for ways to share these experiences with our audience.

Working closely with the administrative office, I receive valuable feedback that helps me refine my content and better understand the goals of our social media strategy. This collaboration has been instrumental in helping me develop my skills, from interpreting analytics to crafting messages that resonate with our diverse audience. The constructive feedback ensures that I’m constantly improving and delivering content that aligns with the university’s vision.

Soon, I’ll be starting an office job on campus that is directly connected to my role as a social media ambassador. This new position will give me the chance to make new connections, learn more about the administrative side of social media management, and further enhance my communication skills. I’m excited to build relationships with new colleagues and gain additional experience that will be beneficial in my future career in advertising and public relations. My role as a social media ambassador has been incredibly rewarding, and I’m eager to continue growing in this position!
